A comprehensive set of enhancements for the Mark I kits that will result in a nicely detailed model.

Recommended to the modeller of these little aircraft kits as the parts will enhance the and replace the over-scale kit plastic parts.

FirstLook

This 40x25mm fret contains photo-etched parts to embellish the Mark I kits of the Fiat G.50 and so there are two complete sets on the single fret.

This comes in a clear sleeve with a with black background card and a single-sided A5 instruction sheet but no colour call-outs. The modeller is shown which areas of the kits have to be removed or trimmed.

Some parts are microscopic and folding the trim-wheel and its pedestal, and the rudder pedals will test one’s eyesight and require a suitable folding tool, methinks.

Other parts include a seat and belts, wiring loom for the engine, a door, and set of undercarriage doors as well as an instrument panel overlay and pitot tubes. There is some relief etching on items like the u/c doors and instrument panel. The characteristic chains used on Italian seat belts are a treat to look at in this scale!

These components will certainly enhance the finished model and come highly recommended to the modeller of 1/144 Italian subjects. Careful painting will really add to the effects.

Thanks to Brengun for the review sample.
