Contents and Media:

Colour photo-etched parts and instructions

Review Type: FirstLook
Advantages: A good range of nicely coloured panels and detail parts. Fret attachments are fine and instructions clear.
Disadvantages: None noted apart from the tiny-ness of a couple of levers and handles that will require care in moving from the fret.
Recommendation: This is a useful set of etched parts to really enhance your night-fighter variant of this aircraft. Recommended.

FirstLook

Designed for their own kit reviewed previously, this set I presume will add the bits that come with the Profipack edition (?).

The fret comes in the familiar clear sleeve with a card backing and is a 70x40mm precoloured fret that provides a large number of interior details for instrument and radio panels, seat belts, knobs and bobs as well as some fine details for the undercarriage, aerials, vents and flame damper exhausts.

A double-sided A5 instruction sheet clearly shows where each part goes. Some of the parts will severely test the eyesight and manual dexterity of old farts like me!! These coloured frets certainly bring an interior to life and are certainly recommended to any modeller who wants to tizz up their model, especially if the canopy is left open.

Conclusion

This ZOOM photo-etched set will add an extra dimension of detail to the cockpit of your Airfix 1/72 scale Wellington Mk.II economically and with a minimum of effort.

Thanks to Eduard for the review samples
