Colour photo-etched parts and instructions

Review Type: FirstLook
Advantages: Offers a good range of nicely coloured panels and detail parts. Fret attachments are fine and instructions clear.
Disadvantages: None noted apart from the tiny-ness of a couple of levers and undercarriage brackets that will require care in moving from the fret and attachment.
Recommendation: This is a useful set of etched parts to really enhance your night-fighter variant of this aircraft. Recommended.

FirstLook

Designed for the recently released and quite lovely Clear Prop kit, the fret comes in the familiar clear sleeve with a card backing.

It is a 70x35mm precoloured fret that provides a large number of interior details for instrument  panel, rudder bar, seat belts, knobs and bobs as well as some very tiny details for the undercarriage , and a wiring loom fro the engine. A double-sided A5 instruction sheet clearly shows where each part goes.

Some of the parts will severely test the eyesight and manual dexterity of old farts like me, especially the twenty brackets that embellish the undercarriage legs!!

Conclusion

These coloured frets certainly bring an interior to life and are certainly recommended to any modeller who wants to jazz up their model, especially as the canopy is open. I can imagine that much of the set could be used in the old Revell kit as well.

Thanks to Eduard for the review samples
