Eduard has produced a range of accessories for their own 1/72 scale Weekend Edition Fw 190 A-5 kit.

Tonight I review two of Eduard's useful upgrades.

SS804 - Fw 190 A-5 ZOOM for Eduard Weekend kits

For the modeller who would like to enhance the plastic parts in the Weekend Edition of this popular kit, Eduard has produced this 50x35mm fret.

There are around twenty parts, some, such as the instrument panel and seat belts, are printed in colour. Essentially these are used to enhance the cockpit interior,  aerials and undercarriage and will add a bit of refinement to these areas and avoid some very delicate painting.

A double-sided A5 sheet of clear drawings shows where all the parts go, just ignore the incorrect scale given on the heading !

This is definitely 1/72 . As such the sheet comes highly recommended.

CX456 - Fw 190 A-5 Masks for Eduard Weekend kits

This inexpensive set supplied die-cut, self-adhesive masks for the canopy..

These are a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task on the canopy of your small scle Wurger.

This is a great little fret that will improve the basic plastic parts of the Eduard kit.
