This is Eason from Hong Kong. I just finished my 1/144 Trumpeter Type VIIC U-boat model. This is U251 which was serving 11th U-boat Flotilla in Norway and always hunting the Arctic convoy.

I used 3D printing conversion kit on this model to achieve a more realistic result.

Tamiya lacquer paint (LP17) was used as the base coat on the model. Then, I applied a coat of AK088 Worn effect acrylic fluid on the boat and gave it 20 minutes to dry.

Finally, I sprayed Tamiya Xf24 on the lower hull and Xf2:Xf19 5:1 on the upper hull. Toothbrush was used to scrap the acrylic paint to get the appropriate worn effect.

Various Mr.Hobby weathering colours were used to create the weathering effect.

Thank you very much.
