Advantages: A very simple, quick and convenient masking solution; also fits other brands of kit wheel wells.
Disadvantages: None noted.

Definitely a nifty idea and one that hopefully should see a whole range of different aeroplanes covered. Support these chaps and we look forward to an expanded range.

The set consists of two dense foam shapes that are designed to fit inside the wells once they have been painted and during the exterior painting process. Simple! They are provided in a small resealable clear sleeve and no instructions are given nor required.

 

 

This is an interesting addition to the modeller’s repertoire and is designed to fit the Tamiya kit but could also fit the wheel wells of other kits. I actually tried them on the most recent Airfix kit and they fitted perfectly.
