Mini Craft Collection is a relatively new company from China that focuses on 3d printed seats and accessories for US military jet aircraft.

Tonight I will be reviewing their full replacement wheel bay for Arma Model's 1/48 scale Hurricane Mk.II kits.
This set joins the wonderfully detailed Hurricane Mk.II cockpit and control surfaces sets that were released earlier this year.
Mini Craft Collection has set its sights high in targeting Arma's Hurricane kit. The kit wheel well is very nice straight from the box but MCC has done a great job here.
The set arrives in a small stout silver tin.
The resin parts are couched securely in bubblewrap.

The wheel well is made up from just six pieces of 3d printed grey resin - four if you are using MCC's cockpit set.
The 3d parts are perfectly printed. There are no striations or any other printing imperfections whatsoever.

Parts cleanup will be familiar to anyone who has used 3D printed accessories. The parts are attached to fine rods that taper even more narrowly at the point of attachment. I found this was one of the easiest ever 3d resin cleanups that I have ever encountered. It was just a matter of cutting off the left and right sides of the printing base and just breaking off the parts.

There was almost no residue left after this simple operation. I ran a sanding stick over the top of the wheel well part but I am not even sure if that was necessay.

Detail on the one-piece main wheel bay is gorgeous.

The parts are all crisply and amazingly detailed.
A hydraulic tube and a spare are included.

Five tiny delicate rods are also included. Only two are required. The rods are a bit hard to pick from the surrounding printing stems, so look carefully before you throw anything into the bin!

Simple, one-page instructions are included.

It looks like there will be no surgery required for the donor kit.
This is a beautifully detailed replacement wheel bay for any of Arma Hobby's 1/48 scale Hurricane Mk.II and Sea Hurricane kits.
I do hope that we will see more full cockpit replacements and WWII subjects from MCC in the future.
Highly Recommended.
Thanks to Mini Craft Collection for the sample.
