FirstLook

S.B.S Model has released a four-engine set for HK Models' 1/32 scale B-17F and B-17G Flying Fortress kits.

The set is made up from 16 resin parts, but the small count does not imply any lack of detail. Quite the opposite in fact.

Four engines are provided.

The cylinder faces, pushrods, ignition harness, magnetos and more are moulded as a single piece for each engine.

The engines are ready for installation with no further preparation.

Casting quality is perfect too.

In additon to the single-piece engines, the set also supplies four pylons for mounting the engines, four propeller shafts and four external oil supply tubes.

A small instruction sheet provides exact assembly sequence, referring back to the kit cowl flaps as required.

Painting directions are not included.

Conclusion

This beautifully detailed engine set will add a new universe of detail to the front end of your HK Models 1/32 scale B-17F or B-17G kit. Cleanup and assembly will be very straightforward.

Highly Recommended.

Thanks to SBS Model for the samples
