B-17G Chin Turret

S.B.S Model has released a B-17G Chin Turret for HK Models' 1/48 scale B-17G Flying Fortress kits.

This set is also available in 1/32 scale

The set is made up from five grey coloured 3d printed resin parts,

The turret will be quickly ready for installation with only minor work to remove the part from its many 3d printing stems.

In additon to the one-piece turret, the main printing block also includes two covers for the machine gun openings.

The detail of the zippered covers is really impressive.

Separate internal frames are supplied too.

Another nice touch is the inclusion of printed acetate film that is designed to be slotted in between the exterior of the chin turret and the separate frames inside.

A small instruction sheet provides exact assembly sequence, referring back to the kit parts as necessary.

Painting directions are not included.

This is a simple and noticeable upgrade to the HK B-17G Flying Fortress chin. Cleanup and installation will be very straightforward.
