Art Scale Kit has released a new family of decal sets for 1/48 scale Focke-Wulf kits.
Tonight we examine Part 2.

The best 1/48 scale Fw 190 A-8s on the market today are the Eduard kits.
Markings are supplied for the following four subjects:
-
Fw-190A-8/R2, 10/JG3 (Sturm), flown by Lt Wilhelm Moritz, Memmingen, July 1944, Luftwaffe.
-
Fw-190A-8/R2, Yellow 3, 12/JG3 (Sturm), flown by Otfried Baisch, Barth airfield, 1944, Luftwaffe.
-
Fw-190A-8/R2, Yellow 6, 12/JG3 (Sturm), flown by Gerhart Liepholz, Barth airfield, 1944, Luftwaffe.
-
Fw-190A-8/R2, Black 12, Wnr.730282, IV/JG3 (Sturm), 1944, Luftwaffe.
Instructions with four-view illustrations for all four subjects and reference photos are included.

ASK has provided a generous amount of national markings. However, you are on your own for spinner spirals and paint trimming for the black fuselage markings.
Decal printing quality looks very good. The decals are glossy in finish. Apparently the clear top layer of the decals may be removed after application with lighter fluid, much in the same way as current Eduard decals.

If desired, the clear decal film can be removed by careful peeling or with a wash off Zippo lighter fluid.
These are nice looking decals that will offer an individualised finish for your 1/48 scale Wurgers..
Thanks to Art Scale Kit for the samples
