Reskit, known for their highly detailed 3d prints for aircraft updates, has tipped their toe in the 1:48 scale figure market set which has all the hallmarks of everything we have come to expect from them, but this time in figures.

In my opinion  very few figure manufacturers reach the gold standard in figure sculpting and production. Without naming names you probably have guessed which figure manufactures I am thinking of .

With this set I can honestly say that Reskit has reached that standard and in some cases have exceeded it.

The set is presented in the now familiar brown box  with a colored 3d rendering of the figures enclosed.

The content include cages that with three figures in two cages for a total of six figures while the last cage includes 12 heads.

Once removed from the cages the figures are highly detailed with fabric folds done to an extremely high standard.

The support gates are easily removed and in most case will simply break away cleanly with no tell tale divots encountered . This may have something to do with the print resin used as it is softish but sufficiently rigid as well.

The heads are impressive and offer an enclosed goggle or open option. The open setup is innovative, allowing eye sockets to be painted and covered with clear or tinted resin for a see-through effect, which is difficult to achieve with standard arrangements.  It’s a clever idea and well worth the effort to try and achieve it.

I am impressed with these figures and I’m sure you will be too.

Highly Recommended
