Eduard has expanded its range of accessories for the Airfix 1/24 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-5 / 6 kit.

Tonight I review six of Eduard's recent large-scale Gustav upgrades.

624008 - Eduard BRASSIN PRINT Bf 109 G-5/6 Wheels for Airfix Kit

These wheels will be best suited to the new Airfix 1/24 scale Bf 109 G-5 / G-6 kit.

This is a simple drop-fit replacement for the kit's main and tail wheels. Eduard's replacement wheels are cast in grey resin and presented as one part each.

They are subtly bulged and flattened. Eduard's resin wheels also feature crisper surface textures including the tread pattern and hub structure.

Self adhesive painting masks are included too.

Cleanup should be fast and simple. A few swipes with a razor saw for each wheel should do the trick.

624009 - Eduard BRASSIN PRINT Bf 109 G-5/6 Rudder Pedals for Airfix Kit

Here is another simple upgrade for your Airfix 1/24 scale Bf 109 G-5 / G-6 kit.

This is a replacement for the kit's rudder pedals. Eduard's replacement pedals are cast in grey resin and presented as one part each, including the toe straps.

The resin parts are packed securely in a clear plastic case stuck to the bottom.

Cleanup should be fast and simple.

624010 - Eduard BRASSIN PRINT Bf 109 G-5/6 Gun Barrels

Here is another simple upgrade for your Airfix 1/24 scale Bf 109 G-5 / G-6 kit.

This is a replacement for the kit's four gun barrels - the 13 mm MG 131cowl guns and the long-barrel 20 mm MG 151/20 cannon for the gun boat kit option.

The resin parts are packed securely in a clear plastic case stuck to the bottom.

Cleanup should be fast and simple.

624011 - Eduard BRASSIN PRINT Bf 109 G-5/6 Exhaust Stacks

Here is another simple upgrade for your Airfix 1/24 scale Bf 109 G-5 / G-6 kit.

This is a replacement for the kit's individual exhaust stacks. These will slot straight into the kit's exhaust stack recesses.

The resin parts are packed securely in a clear plastic case stuck to the bottom.

The parts are printed perfectly in 3d printed in grey resin. Cleanup should be fast and simple.

Here is another simple upgrade for your Airfix 1/24 scale Bf 109 G-5 / G-6 kit.

This is a replacement for the kit's individual mass balances. These are located under each of the ailerons.

The resin parts are packed securely in a clear plastic case stuck to the bottom.

The parts are printed perfectly in 3d printed in grey resin. Cleanup should be fast and simple.

Here is another simple upgrade for your Airfix 1/24 scale Bf 109 G-5 / G-6 kit.

This is a replacement for the kit's gun sights. Both styles of gun sight is included.

The resin parts are packed securely in a clear plastic case stuck to the bottom.

The parts are printed perfectly in 3d printed in grey resin as one piece each. Cleanup should be fast and simple.
