Advantages:

Beautifully detailed; perfectly cast; engine is printed as a single part with pushrods, ignition harness and other details in place; exhaust stacks included on separate parts.

Disadvantages:

None noted.

Conclusions:

This beautifully detailed engine will add a new universe of detail to the front end of your Arma Hobby 1/72 scale Hawk H-75A-1/A-2 kits. Cleanup and assembly will be very straightforward.

S.B.S Model has released a replacement engine set for Arma Hobby's 1/72 scale Hawk H-75A-1/A-2 kits.

 

 

The set is made up from just three 3d printed resin parts, but the small count does not imply any lack of detail. Quite the opposite in fact.

The cylinder faces, pushrods, ignition harness, magnetos and more are moulded as a single piece.

 

 

Two tiny exhaust stacks are separate parts. They are handed Left and Right. These are clearly printed on the printing arches.

Once the parts have been separated from the fine printing stems the engines will be ready for installation with no further preparation.

 

 

Printing quality is perfect too.

 

 

Instructions are not included but installation is mostly self-explanatory.

The exception is an unnamed seven-sided irregular Heptagon-shaped collar that seems to be a separate mount for the resin engine. Test fit before commiting to glue.

 

 

Conclusion

 

This beautifully detailed engine will add a new universe of detail to the front end of your Arma Hobby 1/72 scale Hawk H-75A-1/A-2 kits.
