RAF Jaguar Pilot

Modelu 1/32 scale
Reviewed by Brett Green

Modelu has just released a 1/48 scale standing Jaguar pilot.
The RAF Jaguar pilot is represented during the 1990–91 Gulf War period.
The figure wears standard issue flying clothing for Operation Granby, including anti-G trousers, life preserver, and flight suit.
He will be ideal for modelling RAF Jaguars on deployment in the Middle East, flight line scenes, or crew briefing areas. *
The figure is perfectly 3d printed in grey resin with fine attachment strips / points. No striations or other imperfections can be found on my sample.

I thought it was important to see what this figure would look like when he had been freed from his 3d printing cage so I set about cleaning up.

I removed the figure from his attachments using a new hobby blade and a quality set of sprue cutters. This was a fast and easy job. I cut the points close to the body of the figure using the sprue cutters and he was quickly freed with almost no residue.
The figure can really be appreciated once removed from his printing strips.
Also note that Modelu offers this figure in a choice of seven scales from 1/24 to 1/144 including all the usual model aircraft, military and figure scales.
This RAF Jaguar pilot offers plenty of opportunities to add character to your dioramas and vignettes, especially if you have the recent Airfix 1/48 scale Jaguar. The figure is very realistic and highly detailed.
Highly Recommended!
