David Doyle Books News #58

Great New Books and Great New Deals!

Dear Friends,

Denise and I hope all of you enjoyed your Independence Day celebration, and pray that none of you were impacted by the horrific flooding in Texas.  We enjoyed cooking out and fireworks with our grandson. Since then, we've gotten a LOT of new books.
Those of you who build armor models have no doubt heard the exciting news that several new models of US half-tracks are on the way in a variety of scales and from multiple manufacturers. If you want to learn the difference between a M3 and a M3A1 (no, its not the roller), which half-tracks were welded (International Harvester), what manufacturer oriented the slots in the armored bolts vertically (Diebold Safe and Lock Company, who made and installed the armor for White) - we've got just the reference for you  - with 850 wartime photos and a text researched from primary source documents  - and for a limited time its half off with $20 additional purchase! No discount code needed - the discount will automatically be applied during checkout!  Special offer good until 16 July, and limited to one per customer and no other discounts apply.

One of our many new books this week is also of great benefit to anyone building a half-track (or armored car, or tank, or amphibian or US WWII airplane - and even some non-US equipment).  That is the massive Weapon Mounts for Secondary Armaments -1100 pages of weapon mounting details. Along with that great volume, we also received a number of books related to small arms, such as the Thompson, M14, Grease Gun, and other classics.

Also arriving was the third volume of the Scale It series, a restock of the fast-selling AirMark A-1 Skyraider book,  along with their new titles on the Lockheed Ventura and Spitfire. Also arriving were books about the Dassault Mystere, the Starship EnterpriseFifth Air Force Nose Art and the Kaman Seasprite.  Also now in stock is the July Phoenix Aviation Modelling International magazine.
Even with all these great new books arriving this week - there are more on the way!

We are now taking reservations for these exciting forthcoming books (in addition to the several books for which we were already accepting reservations):

Curtiss SB2C Helldiver Warpaint Special
German Military Unit Insignia Vol. 1
F-86 Real to Replica
Red Air USAF/USN Aggressors
General Dynamics F-111
Easy Company in Normandy

Some of these have a very brief reservation window (closing Tuesday) - so don't delay making your reservation.  While we ask for no money down, we do ask that you honor your reservation commitments.

Denise and I are blessed to have your ongoing support.

Sincerely,

David and Denise
