Two Book Sales, One Weekend!

Denise and I hope that all of you are doing well.

For some time now you have read in our newsletters that the many new arrivals are causing us to run out of storage space.

To aggressively address that ongoing problem, we've arranged to have some new shelving made, which will be arriving soon.  This will replace about 25% of our existing shelving, and should be a major benefit. 

Of course, this also means we've got to move about 25% of our books in order to put the new units in place. So, we've decided to have a SALE on the books in the impacted area - better to move them to your bookshelves than in and out of our garage :)

So from now through Monday 15 September you will automatically get an additional 10% off our already low advertised prices on books from Schiffer Publishing (excludes Legends of Warfare) as well as all non-military railroad books.  No discount code necessary, discount taken during checkout.

This week we've restocked on a number of books from Legends of Warfare, Kagero, as well as various Small Arms books.  Unfortunately, with of the freight that has come in recently, especially from overseas, we've also accumulated a number of damaged books - these are offered at low prices on our Dented but Still Good page - HOWEVER, this Sunday only, you'll get an ADDITIONAL 20% off of those books.

But here is the catch - they are already bargains, and the one you want may or may not still be available on Sunday - so order now for a sure thing, or wait and maybe get an even better deal Sunday - that is why these type of sales are called Gamblers Sales. Again, no discount code necessary.  All days and times are Central Time.

This is a good time to talk about how our shopping cart works.  You can certainily build an order in your shopping cart - but until you check out, those items remain available for sale to others (they can be poached from your cart - the system does not "put them aside" for you.)  So, when in doubt, check out.  If you place multiple orders over a brief period of time we will combine them and refund any excess shipping charges that accrued.

Finally, Denise and I had been looking forward to being at the Historic Constructon Equipment Association Convention next weekend, but unexpected medical issues with me means that more than likely we won't make it.
