No Tricks, Just Treats!

Dear Friends,

Denise and I hope that all of you are doing well.  We are well, but we've had a lot of rain (and cooler temperatures), so our garage (aka book storage) renovations are moving slower than we have planned.  We hope to wrap up this project this weekend.

Speaking of this weekend...Saturday is All Saint's Day, which means Friday is All Hallow's Eve - popularly known as Halloween. I remember as a child dressing up as the Adam West Batman, or a soldier, or a fire fighter and going to our neighbors pleading "Trick or Treat" and hoping for Reese's Cups (I still ask Denise to buy Reese's Cups for Halloween, just in case we don't give them all away!)

Sometimes I got desired the Reese's - but other times I was given a Butterfinger, or tossed a Blow Pop - what we kids got was entirely up to our friendly neighbors and their preferences.  Afterwards, it was all eaten - either by me, or traded to another kid, or "tested" by dad!

With those simple joys of the past in mind, Denise and I are pleased to offer our "Treat or Treat" sale - no tricks here!

For each order of in stock items of $50 or more, we will include free books equal to 50% of of the value of your order.  That is, place a $50 order, you'll get the books you order, plus another $25 worth of books, place a $120 order, you'll get an extra $60 worth of publications.

(Sorry, this sale excludes our Aviation and Armor Book of the Month Clubmemberships, and owing to the high shipping cost is not valid on shipments outside the United States.)

Just like my childhood neighbors chose the candy they were giving away, the choice of the free publications is up to me and Denise.  We WILL try to match the freebies to what you are ordering - that is, if you buy M3 Lee/Grant, we won't be furnishing USAAF Aircraft Weapons of WWII, but we may send you a US Half-Tracks book.

No discount code is needed, but you will see an automatic discount of .02 automatically applied to your order of $50 or more, which will remind us to include your free publications.  We reserve the right to round the values of the publications - so you may wind up $2 or $3 short, or $2 or $3 over in your freebies - we're doing this in our head, so please understand. 
This sale ends at midnight Monday 3 November. 

Also, the early bird special for our Book of the Month Club enrollment ends this Saturday.  Always a great deal, the early bird adds an extra $100 worth of free books to the membership.
