David Doyle Books News #98

New titles arrived - and more new titles announced!

Dear Friends,

Denise and I hope that all is going well for you.  Here in Milan it seems that yard-cutting time is upon us - despite having snow only a week ago!  The guy that develops self-manicuring grass will make a fortune!

This week we received the new Real to Replica book about the Sea Fury, the 16th volume in their hot Red series books.  Get your copy  before they sell out!

Also from the same publisher we have the March issue of Phoenix Aviation Modelling.

While on the subject of aviation modelling magazines, also just in is issue 125 of Air Modeller.

The delivery trucks also brought a number of restocks, including the ever-popular US Army Tractor Trucks and Semitrallers, which looks at the many various vehicles of this type used by the Army during WWII.

Also arriving this week were many, many boxes of Legends of Warfare and Schiffer books as well as Squadron-Signal publications, whcih has allowed us to not only restock but also to broaden our selection of these publications.  These two shipments are so large it would take hours to list them in this newsletter.  Regardless of your area of interest, we are sure something came in that you would enjoy.  Be sure and browse the pages of or our DavidDoyleBooks website - we bet you'll find something you've overlooked in the past.  Because there is so much freight remaining to unpack, I fully expect our shipping to be behind until Monday, and we appreciate your understanding.

Looking to the future - we are happy to announce my forthcoming book about the M113 and M113A1 - a true workhorse of the US Army and allies during the Vietnam and Cold War eras.  We are currently taking reservations for this book, which will be released next month.  Also, the printer's proof of my new M1/M1A1 wrecker book arrived, and it too is on track to be released next month - if you have not reserved your copy yet, do so now!

We are also pleased to announce my first collaboration with Lee Archer of Panzerwrecks - Panzerwrecks 29:USA.  This books is due out later this year, but reservations are now open, as they are for Panzerwrecks 28:British.

We are also taking reservations for the just-announced A-26 Invader Real to Replica volume which is also due for release next month.

We also continue to take reservations for my German Light Armored Car and Sd.Kfz.251 half-track volumes, as well as Warpaint 152 - the Ju 86 - the latter of which should be arriving next week.

Just a reminder - while we ask for no money down, we do expect you to purchase the books you reserve when they arrive.  We understand things come up, and if they do sending us an email as early as possible allows us to plan accordingly, and is appreciated.  Just ignoring the arrival notice leaves us wondering - and holding books we've paid for while other people are looking for them.

Speaking of wondering - if you ever aren't sure if you've reserved a book, there is no need to email us.  Just reserve it again.  So long as you use only one email address for your reservations, they will not duplicate.  However, if you use multiple email addresses, you've made multiple reservations, and we buy a book for each reservation - please be mindful of that.

We pray all of you remain safe, and we ask all of you to join is in praying for the safety of our servicemen and women.

Sincerely,

David and Denise Doyle
