Eduard released a figure set, "RAF Fighter Crew 1940", in the middle of this year. They have now supplemented this figure set with a new release, "RAF WWII Personnel". These six figures may be used to complement the early fighter crew figures, or may be employed on their own.

This set will be appropriate for any period in Britain or the European theatre from 1939 to 1945.

The kit comprises 38 parts in grey plastic, making up a total of six ground crew figures.

All the figures are provided in fairly relaxed maintenance poses.

Each figure is made up of separate arms and legs, a torso and head. Detail is very good, with individual facial expressions.

A few props are also included - an oil can and a wheel chock.

The figures are nice and chunky. I measured one of the typical figures. He was 37mm from the bottom of his heel to the top of his head, which scales out to 177.6 cm, or around 5' 10".

Eduard's 1/48 scale "RAF WWII Personnel" is a versatile figure set that will lend a sense of scale and context to an individual model or a diorama.

Recommended.

Thanks to Eduard for the sample
