Maurizio di Terlizzi has information about his latest book that covers the history of the Terzo Stormo Caccia of the Regia Aeronautica deployed in the defense of Rome in the summer of 1943, equipped with Macchi and Messerschmitt fighters. The book is in A4 format and is made up of 259 pages with Italian and English text. It has 217 black and white photographs, 11 aircraft profiles, 2 tables and a great quantity of stories and information researched and studied in years and years of dedication at public and private archives. Barracuda Studios has sent images and information about eight new releases in 1/72 and 1/48 scales. Subjects covered include the Mosquito Mk.XVI, Gloster Meteor and Su-24 Fencer. All these releases are available right now.
Arma Hobby has announced that their forthcoming 1/48 scale Hurricane Mk I (Kit No. 40015) is now very close to completion. The first test-shot build went really well, and we’re they are implementing the final small corrections right now. You may see a full report of the test shot build by following this link.

For our Australian visitors, the twenty-third “PROPS, JETS & ROTORS” Scale Aviation Display & Competition will be held this weekend (November 01-02) at the SA Aviation Museum (Bedford St, Port Adelaide).
