Classic Airframes is clearing out their warehouse. Available items are listed on the Classic Airframes website. Some are in very limited numbers. Classic Airframes will provide updates if any items are no longer in stock. The rules are very simple - buy one kit and get the second kit of equal or lesser value for $5.00 USD. The shipping is equally simple - $9.00 USD for any size order in the USA, foreign orders are $18.00 for any size order. You must order via through Paypal. The email used by Paypal is classicairframes@aol.com The items will be availble until sold out, the kits are not scheduled to be re-issued, so this is your chance if you want to add these to your collection at a rock bottom price. If something needs clarification contact (email) before placing the order, or simply list an alternate choice if the original choice is not available.

I arrived home last night after the long flight back from the UK. Despite my very best intentions, I spent most of the day on the phone and answering emails, so no new update tonight. Business as usual tomorrow - with a little luck!

I spent an enjoyable day at the Shropshire Model Show at Cosford RAF Museum today. Congratulations to the organisers for a terrific show. I will be returning home tomorrow, so the next update will be posted on Wednesday.

I apologise for the service problems over the last two days. My hosting company inexplicably decided to change the DNS server details on HyperScale's and Missing-Lynx's servers while they were doing maintenance on Wednesday morning. However, they neglected to tell me about it, so all the sites on both servers winked out of existence. After the third time they suggested that there was no problem and the servers were working perfectly, they finally told me about the altered DNS. I changed the DNS settings on all the domain names to match the servers yesterday morning. It seems that most people can see most of the sites again now, but it might take another 12 hours or so for the information to propagate everywhere.

1 - 2 April, 2009

We have had some service interruptions today due to the hosting company conducting maintenance on HyperScale's and Missing-Lynx's servers. I apologise for the inconvenience.

Jules Bringuier has contacted me to advise that rumours of Classic Airframes demise as claimed on HyperScale's Forums this weekend are greatly exaggerated. Jules is currently out of the country on vacation, but confirms that Classic Airframes is still very much alive. The confusion may have resulted from Jules' previous statement that announced kits are still under careful consideration and will be released at a time when market conditions indicates that such an investment can be viable.
